Kelly Loeffler, the current Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration under President Donald J. Trump, was born in Bloomington, Illinois, in 1970. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and an MBA from DePaul University. Prior to public service, Loeffler built a successful career in the private sector as a financial executive and co-owner of a WNBA team, and later served as a U.S. Senator representing Georgia. Known for her focus on economic opportunity, her career reflects decades of commitment to entrepreneurship and business development.
