Daylight Savings Time begins on the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November. This bi-annual clock changing was not established in U.S. law until passage of The Standard Time Act 108 years ago today, on March 19, 1918.
The Standard Time Act set it place, well standard time zones across the USA, and it also established Daylight Saving Time. This tweaking by law has been tweaked over the decades but still remains a part of America though it debated whether it actually accomplishes anything other than bother most people.
