Pete Hegseth, the current Secretary of War under President Donald J. Trump, was born in Forest Lake, Minnesota on June 6th, 1980. He earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and later obtained a Master in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School. Hegseth is a U.S. Army veteran with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, and previously served as a national commentator and nonprofit executive advocating for veterans and military families.
